I never had a drinking problem. I would drink until it became a problem. Binge drinking was something I was good at [I was great]. However in the mist of my debauchery I was never ashamed of the gospel. No, I wasn’t a belligerent alcoholic [aggressive, hostile]. But, if by chance the conversation arose I would happily indulge myself in a conversation about the good-news of Jesus Christ. Yes, I would be sipping on the devil’s poison and brandishing the love I have for Jesus with the next breath. No; I am not your typical Christian, I’ve been battling alcoholism for over thirty-plus years. And I understand that addictions are not a disease they are a choice…I don’t care what bottle you’re drinking out of, what bag you’re smoking out of, or whatever hot shot you’re concocting just know that…Jesus loves you and there’s nothing you can do about it]!
